You can submit as many poems as you like, in any genre, but each submission must be accompanied by the relevant entry fee.

GUIDELINES: Open theme, open to all, any genre, any subject, any length.

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: January 31, 2012

ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is £5 (or equivalent currency) for the first entry, £8 for two entries, or £10 for three poems.

SECOND AND THIRD PRIZES: A copy of UKA’s ‘Voices from the Web 2011-2012’ prose and poetry anthology or, if preferred, an earlier anthology. See here: (Voices from the Web)

THE WINNER AND RUNNERS-UP will be announced at the end of February 2012.

Note: A winner will only be chosen if we’ve received sufficient entries. If this is not the case, the deadline will be extended.

JUDGING: Poet, travel writer and novelist John Webber, author of A Slowboat to Moscow, Private Histories and Had Van Gogh Had A Day Job will judge the entries. Very sensibly, he refuses to enter into any correspondence and tells us his decision will be final.

To make judging as fair as possible, all entries are judged blind.
